SAN FRANCISCO – A New Jersey woman alleges she was injured in a bus accident while on vacation in Africa.

Ashley Evans filed a complaint on June 13 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California against Peak DMC North America Inc., Intrepid US Inc. and Does 1 through 100 alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Sept. 7, 2014, she sustained serious physical injuries as a result of the tour bus she was riding rolled over while traveling in Africa. The plaintiff holds Peak DMC North America Inc., Intrepid US Inc., and Does 1 through 100 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to hire competent drivers white ensuring the safety of all passengers on their bus.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks general damages, special damages, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. She is represented by John M. O'Brien and Grant R. Zehnder of John M. O'Brien & Associates PC in Elk Grove.
