Arabian Gas and Oil Development Co. files suit over vessel's construction

SAN FRANCISCO – A Bahrain corporation alleges a vessel it ordered was poorly constructed.

Arabian Gas and Oil Development Co. filed a complaint on July 11 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California against Wisdom Marines Lines SA, Wisdom Marines Lines Co. LTD and Sao Wisdom SA alleging that they failed to supervise the construction of the vessel.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages as a result the result of purchasing a poorly constructed vessel from the defendants. The plaintiff holds Wisdom Marines Lines SA, Wisdom Marines Lines Co. LTD, and Sao Wisdom SA responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to deliver the vessel according to the specification in their agreement with plaintiff.

The plaintiff seeks grant plaintiff the right to attach order and prejudgment writ of attachment and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Frank C. Brucculeri and Daniel Berberich of Kaye, Rose & Partners LLP of Beverly Hills and George A. Gaitas of Chalos & Co. PC in Houston.
