LOS ANGELES — The U.S. government has filed suit against a man for allegedly not paying his student loan.

The U.S. government filed a complaint on Aug. 19 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Steven Cass, alleging that the individual failed to pay the plaintiff for a debt he owed.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that United States of America suffered damages resulting from the unpaid debt.
