SAN FRANCISCO – A San Diego company alleges a Clearwater, Florida business corporation manufactures electronics that infringe a patent it owns.
e.Digital Corp. filed a complaint on Sept. 12 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California against Y-Cam Solutions LLC citing patent infringement.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages to its business as the result of its patents being infringed. The plaintiff holds Y-Cam Solutions LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly offered for sale sensor-based products, including wireless camera systems, that infringes at least one claim of plaintiff's '331 patent.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensation for all damages, all legal fees and interest, and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Anton N. Handal, Gabriel G. Hedrick and Lauren G. Kane of Handal & Associates in San Diego.
