LOS ANGELES – A labor group claims a Santa Fe Springs employer has not paid contributions on behalf of its employees.

Construction Laborers Trust Funds for Southern California Administrative Co. filed a complaint on Sept. 29 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against American Environmental Corp., also known as American Environmental Corp. and AEC; and Hudson Insurance Co. citing the Employee Retirement Income Security Act and the Labor Management Relations Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that it suffered damages from late and unpaid fringed benefit contributions. The plaintiffs hold American Environmental Corp. and Hudson Insurance Co. responsible because the defendants allegedly breached their bargaining agreement with plaintiff by failing to pay their contributions on behalf of their employees.

The plaintiffs seek injunctive relief, an audit of the defendant's records, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. It is represented by Alexander B. Cvitan, Marsha M. Hamasaki and Peter A. Hutchinson of Reich, Adell & Cvitan in Los Angeles.
