SAN DIEGO – A high-tech staffing and consulting company alleges a San Diego corporation has an outstanding balance for services it provided.
Cybage Software PVT. LTD filed a complaint on Sept. 29 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California against Bump Network Inc., doing business as Events.com, alleging breach of contract.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Dec. 4, 2014, it entered into a written consulting and service agreement to provide services to the defendant. The plaintiff alleges that although it has completed services, and the defendant has made partial payment, there remains at least $118,868 due and owing for services rendered and/or reimbursement of expenses.
The plaintiff holds Bump Network Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly breached its duty by failing to pay for the services provided pursuant to the agreement and benefited at the expense of plaintiff.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment in its favor, damages in an amount of more than $75,000, interest, costs of suit and further relief as the court deems just. It is represented by John M. Sorich and Heather E. Stern of Parker Ibrahim & Berg LLC in Costa Mesa.
