GutterGlove alleges patented products were copied

SACRAMENTO – A Rocklin company alleges a Loomis business infringed its patented technology for a gutter product.

GutterGlove Inc. filed a complaint on Oct. 7 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California against American Die and Rollforming Inc. and Valor Gutter Guard alleging patent infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff asserts its rights to its patents, titled Supported Mesh Debris Preclusion System for Gutters and Corrugated Mesh Gutter Leaf Preclusion System. It alleges the the defendants manufactured, used and soldg products that infringed on its intellectual properties. The plaintiff alleges these actions caused it to suffer irreparable harm.

The plaintiff holds American Die and Rollforming Inc. and Valor Gutter Guard responsible because the defendants allegedly introduced an infringing product into the stream of commerce.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks declaratory relief, damages, costs, expenses, interest and further relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Jacob Song of Kutak Rock LLP in Irvine.
