SAN FRANCISCO – A man has filed a class-action lawsuit against temporary employment agencies alleging he and others were not fairly compensated during their employment.

Lam Dang filed a complaint on behalf of all others similarly situated on Oct. 28 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California against Allegis Group Inc., Aerotek Inc. and Does 1-10 alleging violation of California labor codes.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he and class members worked for the defendants without being paid minimum wages, provided itemized wage statements or paid wages upon the completion of employment.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks unpaid wages, special damages, interest, liquidated damages, all legal fees and any other relief the court deems just. He is represented by Brett D. Szmanda of Szmanda Law Group in Huntington Beach.
