LOS ANGELES – The federal government alleges a Los Angeles County man owes more than $20,000 on an education loan.
United States of America filed a complaint on Nov. 3 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Alfredo Palacol alleging that the individual failed to settle his debt with the plaintiff.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges Palacol failed to pay the principal amount of his debt including interest.
The plaintiff seeks principal amount of $20,997.81 plus interest of $9,746.57, with interest accruing thereafter at 2.08 percent and all legal fees. It is represented by Jacquelyne M. Nguyen and Kseniya Y. Stupak of Law Office of Jacquelyne M. Nguyen in Costa Mesa.
