Veratex Inc. alleged to owe more than $900,000 for textiles

LOS ANGELES – A Panorama City company is accused of not paying for textiles it ordered in full.

Offis Textile LTD filed a complaint on Nov. 8 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, Western Division against Veratex Inc. and Does 1-10 alleging breach of written contract and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered monetary damages to its business as the result of unpaid invoices. The plaintiff holds Veratex Inc. and Does 1-10 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to make a payment to the plaintiff for the textiles they ordered.

The plaintiff seeks unpaid of sum of $926,935.16 plus interest, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Nathan D. Wirtschafter and Cameron H. Totten of Nathan D. Wirtschafter Corp. in Encino.
