CALIFORNIA — A Riverside County man is suing Zimmer Holdings, Inc. Health and Welfare Plan, an insurance firm, citing alleged breach of contract.
Kenneth Goss filed a complaint on Dec. 1, in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Zimmer Holdings, Inc. Health and Welfare Plan alleging that the insurance firm denied plaintiff's claim for benefits for his child.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that, in 2013, he suffered damages from having his claim for the treatment of his child being denied. The plaintiff holds Zimmer Holdings, Inc. Health and Welfare Plan responsible because the defendant allegedly upheld its decision to deny plaintiff's claim for the treatment of his child.
The plaintiff seeks payment of health benefits due to the plaintiff, all legal fees and interest plus any other relief as this court deems just. He is represented by Lisa S. Kantor and Timothy J. Rozelle of Kantor & Kantor, LLP in Northridge.
