LOS ANGELES – A Canadian mobile device application development company claims it was not paid for services it provided by a company doing business in Los Angeles County.
Consultica Software Services Inc. filed a complaint on Dec. 5 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Lootsie Inc. and Does 1 through 20 alleging breach of written contract and other counts.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered monetary damages as the result of unpaid invoices. The plaintiff holds Lootsie Inc. and Does 1 through 20 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed and refused to pay invoices to the plaintiff.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual damages not less than $126,044, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by David A. Berstein, Nicholas D. Myers and Ivan U. Cisneros of Myers Berstein LLP in Irvine.
