More than $4,000 sought on allegedly unpaid student loan

LOS ANGELES – The federal government alleges a Riverside County man has failed to pay back a student loan.

United States of America, acting on behalf of the Department of Education, filed a complaint on Dec. 6 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Arthur A. Lambrose alleging that the individual failed to settle his debt with the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Lambrose failed to pay the principal amount of his debt plus interest.

The plaintiff seeks principal amount of $4,814.02 plus interest of $11,450.28 with interest accruing thereafter at 9.13 percent per annum and all legal fees. It is represented by Kathryn E. Van Houten of Irsfeld, Irsfeld & Younger LLP in Glendale.
