Photographer accuses eBay of copyright infringement for using his photographs without permission

CALIFORNIA — A photographer is suing eBay, Inc., and Does 1 through 10, business entities, citing alleged copyright infringement.

Barry Rosen filed a complaint on Dec. 12, in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against the defendants alleging that they used plaintiff's photographs without permission.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he suffered damages from having his photographs used without his consent. The plaintiff holds eBay, Inc., and Does 1 through 10 responsible because the defendants allegedly used plaintiff's photographs on their website.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual damages, statutory damages, profits, interest, to enjoin the defendant, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. He is represented by Peter R. Dion-Kindem of Peter R. DIon-Kindem, P.C. in Woodland Hills.
