CALIFORNIA — A foreign corporation is suing Christopher M. Adams, David V. Adams, trustee of the Christopher Adams Trust; DVA, Inc., and Morgan Adams, Inc., California corporation and California resident, citing alleged defamation and negligence.
Cirrus Education Inc., Cirrus (Beijing) Corp.; Cirrus Ltd.; and IQ-Hub Pte Ltd. filed a complaint on Dec. 12, in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against the defendants alleging that they made defamatory statements against the plaintiff.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that Cirrus Education Inc., Cirrus (Beijing) Corp.; Cirrus Ltd.; and IQ-Hub Pte Ltd. suffered damages to their business. The plaintiffs holds Christopher M. Adams, David V. Adams, trustee of the Christopher Adams Trust; DVA, Inc., and Morgan Adams, Inc. responsible because the defendants allegedly made false claims against the plaintiff to interfere with their application for listing on the NEEQ.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek actual, compensatory, and restitution damages, exemplary and punitive damages, to enjoin the defendant, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just.
