L.A. Gem & Jewelry Design Inc. claims moon pendants were copied without permission

LOS ANGELES – A jewelry designer and creator alleges its pendants were copied and sold.

L.A. Gem & Jewelry Design Inc. filed a complaint on Dec. 16 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against ECommerce Innovations LLC, doing business as Inspired Silver; EndofRetail Inc.; David Strager; and Does 1-10, alleging copyright infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in 2011, it created the LA Rocks I Love You to the Moon and Back pendant and its derivatives. The plaintiff holds ECommerce Innovations LLC, doing business as Inspired Silver; EndofRetail Inc.; David Strager; and Does 1-10 responsible because the defendants allegedly manufactured and sold copies of plaintiff's pendants without authorization.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks enjoin the defendants from allegedly further infringing plaintiff's designs, damages plus interest, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Milord A. Keshishian of Milord & Associates PC in Los Angeles.
