Impact Confections Inc. alleges it is owed more than $100,000 for products

SACRAMENTO – A Wisconsin-based corporation alleges it was not paid for product it delivered to a company with an office in Fairfield.

Impact Confections Inc. filed a complaint on Jan. 19 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California against Funtastic Limited alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Oct. 31, 2016, it suffered substantial monetary losses upon termination of its supplier relationship with the defendant as there remains unpaid balance owed by the defendant to plaintiff in total of $104,471.19. The plaintiff holds Funtastic Limited responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to fulfill its obligations based on purchase orders and failed to pay the purchased goods.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant, damages in the amount of $104,471.19, interest, costs of suit, and further relief as the court may deem proper. It is represented by Patrick T. Markham of Jacobson Markham LLP in Sacramento.
