Notations Inc., Burlington Stores Inc. accused of using designs without permission

LOS ANGELES – A South Korean corporation alleges its exclusive textile designs were used without its authorization.

C&SM Int'l filed a complaint on Feb. 8 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Notations Inc., Burlington Stores Inc. and Does 1-10 alleging copyright infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages to its business from having its designs used on other products. The plaintiff holds Notations Inc., Burlington Stores Inc. and Does 1-10 responsible because the defendants allegedly sold garments that feature fabrics bearing plaintiff's designs.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks enjoin the defendants from further infringing plaintiff's designs, all profits, statutory damages, all legal fees, interest, and any other relief as the court deems just.
