NS Int'l Textiles accuses All Modern Furniture, others of copyright infringement

LOS ANGELES – A South Korea corporation alleges three entities reproduced its fabric designs and used them on their own fabrics.

NS Int'l Textiles filed a complaint on Feb. 22 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against All Modern Furniture Inc., Wayfair LLC, Overstock.com Inc. and Does 1-10 alleging copyright infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages from having its design copied. The plaintiff holds All Modern Furniture Inc., Wayfair LLC, Overstock.com Inc. and Does 1-10 responsible because the defendants allegedly sold products made of fabrics that bear plaintiff's textile design.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks enjoin the defendants, all profits, statutory damages, all legal fees, interest and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by C. Yong Jeong and Amy Choe of Jeong & Likens LC in Los Angeles.
