LOS ANGELES – A Los Angeles company engaged in creating and publishing musical compositions allege some of its works were used in a daytime talk show without its authorization.

We 3 Kings Inc. filed a complaint on Feb. 24 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against the Deep Dish Productions of Chicago LLC, Endemol USA Holding Inc., Beautiful Day Productions LLC, NBCUniversal Domestic Television, a division of NBCUniversal LLC and  Does 1 through 10 alleging copyright infringement.

According to the complaint the plaintiff alleges that it sustained damages from having its work copied and used on the "Steve Harvey" show.
