LOS ANGELES – Three Los Angeles entities are accused of using a company's textile design without authorization.

Jitrade Inc. filed a complaint on Feb. 22 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against the Apple Tree Apparel Inc., G1K Clothing, Zenu Fashion Inc., and Does 1 through 10 alleging copyright infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages to its business from having its SND1508_12A fabric design copied. The plaintiff holds Apple Tree Apparel Inc., G1K Clothing, Zenu Fashion Inc. and Does 1 through 10 responsible because the defendants allegedly sold garments made out of fabrics that feature plaintiff's design.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks to enjoin the defendants, all profits, statutory damages, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by C. Yong Jeong, Amy Choe and Ryan N. Ostrowski of Jeong & Likens LC in Los Angeles.
