LOS ANGELES – A Southern California construction company is alleged to have failed to submit to an audit.
Carpenters Southwest Administrative Corp. and board of trustees for the Carpenters Southwest Trusts filed a complaint on Feb. 27 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, Western Division against AWI Builders Inc., also known as A W I Builders Inc., and Does 1 through 10 citing the Labor-Management Relations Act and the Employee Retirement Income Security Act.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that the defendants allegedly breached their agreement with the plaintiffs by failing to permit them to do an audit of their business records.
The plaintiffs seek for the defendants to submit to an audit, all legal fees, contributions, and any other relief as the court deems just. They are represented by Jodi Siegner of DeCarlo & Shanley in Los Angeles.
