Woman claims Wells Fargo Bank keeps calling her to reach unknown person

Phone 05

SANTA ANA – A San Juan Capistrano consumer alleges a financial institution has called her repeatedly to reach another person.

Cynthia Padock filed a complaint on March 15 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, Southern Division against Wells Fargo Bank N.A. alleging violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she suffered damages from being called several times on her cellular telephone from the defendant in its attempt to reach an unknown party. The plaintiff holds Wells Fargo Bank NA responsible because the defendant allegedly kept on calling the plaintiff despite her request to stop calling since she was not the person it was trying to contact.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks statutory damages of $500, treble damages, and any other relief as the court deems just. She is represented by Trinette G. Kent of Lemberg Law LLC in Wilton, Connecticut.
