Women allege they were injured in collision with FBI employee on I-80

Car accident 31

SACRAMENTO – Two Placer County individuals allege they were injured in an accident with a federal employee.

Elizabeth Gnile and Shannon Gnile filed a complaint on March 15 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California against United States of America alleging negligence

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Oct. 10, 2012, Elizabeth Gnile was traveling on Interstate 80 with daughter Shannon Gnile as a passenger when Federal Bureau of Investigation employee Malcolm Kenyata Palmore made an unsafe lane change and struck the plaintiffs' vehicle. They allege they were injured and sustained property damage. The plaintiffs hold United States of America responsible because the defendant denied their claims for damages and injuries in January.

The plaintiffs seek monetary damages, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. They are represented by Kevin L. Elder of Penney & Associates in Rocklin and Joseph E. Maloney of Auburn.
