Princess Cruise passenger claims broken door catch fractured finger

Cruise 07

LOS ANGELES – A man alleges he suffered injuries while on a cruise.

Brandon Sayareh filed a complaint on March 21 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Princess Cruises and Does 1 through 10 alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 21, 2016, he suffered physical injuries, including a fracture to his right middle finger, because of a broken catch on the door to his room. The plaintiff holds Princess Cruises and Does 1 through 10 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to provide a safe environment and failed to establish and implant safeguards for its staterooms.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks general damages, interest, medical expenses, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. He is represented by Lyle C. Cavin Jr. and Lia T. Marks of Law Offices of Lyle C. Cavin Jr. in San Francisco.
