LOS ANGELES – A Simi Valley business is accused of failing to pay for the installation and service of a press.
Heidelberg USA Inc. filed a complaint on March 22 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against PM Lithographers Inc., doing business as Promedia Printers, alleging breach of contract and other counts.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Promedia purchased a Heidelberg Anicolor Press from a third party and that the defendant contracted the plaintiff for installation. The plaintiff holds PM Lithographers Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly breached its contract with the plaintiff by not paying it for the installation of the press and training it provided.
The plaintiff seeks principal sum of $97,550.39 plus interest, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Thomas E. Shuck of Parker, Milliken, Clark, O'Hara & Samuelian in Los Angeles.
