LOS ANGELES – A La Mirada corporation is alleged to have unlawfully used a website spokesperson software.

Live Face on Web LLC filed a complaint on March 23 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Government Staffing Services Inc. and Does 1-10 alleging copyright infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Live Face on Web LLC suffered damages to its business from having its code copied and distributed without its authority. The plaintiff holds Government Staffing Services Inc. and Does 1-10 responsible because the defendants allegedly reproduced and displayed publicly on its munitemps.com website an infringing version of plaintiff's code.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks permanent injunction, enjoin the defendant, award damages, all profits, reimburse plaintiff for all damages, all legal fees, and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Imran F. Vakil and Angelo Mishriki of Nexio PC in Costa Mesa.
