LOS ANGELES – San Diego County man alleges his Minnesota-headquartered employer has failed to pay proper overtime wages.
Doug Miner filed a complaint on behalf of other persons similarly situated; Does 1 through 10,000 on March 24 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Ecolabs Inc. and Does 1 through 100 citing the Fair Labor Standards Act.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he has been employed by the defendant since 1987. The plaintiff holds Ecolabs Inc. and Does 1 through 100 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay overtime wages to the plaintiff and failed to keep accurate itemized wage statements.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks wages owed to the plaintiff, interest, liquidated damages, statutory penalties, all legal fees, and any other relief as the court deems just.
