LOS ANGELES – A Santa Clarita company alleges it was not paid for work done on two federal projects.
United States of America, for the use and benefit of BMC West LLC, filed a complaint on April 4 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against the K.O.O. Construction Inc., Lesron Insurance Agency Inc. and Does 1 to 100 alleging breach of contract.
According to the complaint, BMC West and K.O.O Construction entered into a contract for two projects in 2016. The plaintiff holds K.O.O. Construction Inc., Lesron Insurance Agency Inc. and Does 1 to 100 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay the plaintiff for the work on the projects plus interest.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks sum of $3,111.26 for the Wilshire Project and $17,167.50 for the Temple Project plus interest at the rate of 18 percent per annum, interest, all legal fees, and any other relief as the court deems just.
