LOS ANGELES – The federal government alleges that a San Bernardino County individual has filed to pay a promissory note.
United States of America filed a complaint on April 4 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Andres Edward Chavez alleging that the individual failed to settle his debt to the plaintiff.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Chavez failed to pay the principal amount of his debt plus interest.
The plaintiff seeks principal amount of $5,610.02 plus interest of $12,307.57 with interest accruing thereafter at 8 percent per annum, interest, administration charges of $40 and all legal fees. It is represented by Kathryn E. Van Houten of Irsfeld, Irsfeld & Younger LLP in Glendale.
