SAN FRANCISCO – A landlord alleges a former tenant substantially damaged the property.
Chinedu Chuku filed a complaint on March 28 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against Lena Ghamrawi and Does 1 to 10 alleging breach of contract.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that the defendant leased an Elm Street property beginning in 2014 and vacated it in 2016. The plaintiff holds Ghamrawi and Does 1 to 10 responsible because the defendants allegedly caused substantial damages to the premises and the plaintiff had to replace all the carpet, hire a cleaning service and make other repairs.
The plaintiff seeks actual damages of $6,900, total damages of $20,700, loss of rental income, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. The plaintiff is represented by Sam Wu of Law Office of Sam Wu in San Francisco.
