SAN FRANCISCO – A bartender alleges she was subjected to a hostile work environment and unlawfully terminated.
Fillipa Simone filed a complaint on March 28 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against Hossein Khajouee, doing business as Hyde Out Tavern and the Miraloma Club, and Does 1 through 50 citing the Fair Employment and Housing Act and wrongful termination.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff was employed as a bartender for the defendants from 2009 to 2016 and alleges she was subjected to repeated sexual harassment from Khajouee. The suit states that she began working at another bar to escape the harassment while still employed with the defendants, and that she was terminated in retaliation in December 2016.
The plaintiff seeks compensatory damages, general damages, punitive damages, all legal fees, and any other relief as this court deems just. She is represented by Charles J. Wisch of Law Offices of Charles J. Wisch in San Francisco.
