Lot Less NYC Inc. accused of unlawfully using design on fabrics

LOS ANGELES – A New York company is accused of unlawfully reproducing a textile design on fabrics.

City Prints LLC filed a complaint on April 12 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Lot Less NYC Inc. and Does 1 through 10 alleging copyright infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages to its business from having its P10511 copyrighted design copied. The plaintiff holds Lot Less NYC Inc. and Does 1 through 10 responsible because the defendants allegedly manufactured and solds fabrics that bear plaintiff's design without authorization.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks to njoin the defendants, profits, statutory damages, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Stephen M. Doniger, Scott A. Burroughs, Trevor W. Barrett and Justin M. Gomes of Doniger/ Burroughs in Venice.
