Attorney alleges she is owed $100,000 for legal services

Late 07

SAN FRANCISCO – An attorney alleges an individual failed to pay her for her legal services.

Svetlana Shirinova filed a complaint on March 30 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against Susie Mikan and Does 1-25 alleging breach of contract and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she suffered monetary damages from not being paid for her services on the defendant's personal injury case in 2016. The plaintiff holds Mikan and Does 1-25 responsible because the defendants allegedly accepted the terms to pay the plaintiff but refused to make any payment and instead fired her and employed a different law firm.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks $100,000 due under the contract, noneconomic/general damages, compensatory/monetary damages, interest, punitive/exemplary damages, all legal fees, consequential and incidental damages, and any other relief as the court deems just. She is representing herself.
