SAN FRANCISCO – A woman formerly employed as a director of security and compliance alleges she was wrongfully terminated.
Caryn Moore filed a complaint on March 29 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against Vendini Inc., Insperity PEO Services LP and Does 1 through 10 alleging sex/gender discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination and other counts.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff was employed by the defendants as director of security and compliance and alleges she was subjected to disparate treatment because of her gender. The plaintiff holds Vendini Inc., Insperity PEO Services LP and Does 1 through 10 responsible because the defendants allegedly terminated plaintiff's employment in January 2016 for engaging in a protected activity regarding an alleged email system hack.
The plaintiff seeks injunction against the defendant, reinstatement and restoration of all benefits, general and compensatory damages, special damages, punitive and exemplary damages, all legal fees, interest and any other relief as the court deems just. She is represented by Dow W. Patten of Smith Patten in Los Angeles.
