Law money 08

LOS ANGELES – Two former loan agents allege that an Orange County employer failed to pay overtime.

Jason N. Nguyen and Tam Nguyen filed a complaint on behalf of all other similarly situated employees on April 20 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Impac Mortgage Corp., doing business as Cashcall Mortgage and Cashcall Inc. citing state labor codes and the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they worked for more than 40 hours per week without being paid any overtime compensation. The plaintiffs holds Impac Mortgage Corp. responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay overtime wages, failed to provide adequate meal periods, made unlawful deductions from wages, and other counts.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek unpaid overtime compensation, interest, liquidated damages, enjoin the defendant, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. They are represented by Dale M. Fiola of Anaheim and Mark Boling of Law Office of Mark Boling in Lake Forest.
