Two union funds claim PS Services Co. owes more than $150,000

SAN FRANCISCO – A Gilroy employer is accused of failing to pay employee contributions to two labor union funds.

Board of trustees of the Sign, Pictorial and Display Industry Welfare Fund; and board of trustees of the Sign, Pictorial and Display Industry Pension Trust Fund filed a complaint on April 28 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California against PS Services Co. LLC alleging violation of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act and the Labor Management Relations Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they suffered damages due to unpaid and late paid contributions. The plaintiffs holds PS Services Co. LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly breached its bargaining agreement with the plaintiff by failing to remit its employees contributions.

The plaintiffs seek sum of $152,513.13 plus interest at the rate of 10 percent, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. They are represented by Lori A. Nord and Stephanie Sorenson of Kraw Law Group in Mountain View.
