SAN FRANCISCO – A former shift supervisor alleges he had to resign from his job because his supervisor physically hit him.
Lee Johnson filed a complaint on April 4 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against Blackstone Consulting Inc., Kenneth Prewitt and Does 1 through 100 alleging assault, battery, wrongful termination in violation of public policy and other counts.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff was employed as a lieutenant shift supervisor for Blackstone and Prewitt was his supervisor. He alleges Prewitt physical hit him on the back of the head several times and that nothing was done in response to his complaints. The suit states he resigned in December 2016. The plaintiff holds Blackstone Consulting Inc., Prewitt and Does 1 through 100 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to protect the plaintiff from being discriminated against and did not investigate his complaints.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensatory damages, general damages, unpaid wages and compensation, special damages, special damages, interest, and any other relief as the court deems just. He is represented by Michael Hoffman and Leonard Emma of Hoffman Employment Lawyers PC in San Francisco.
