Gill Reprographics alleges San Francisco man misappropriated trade secrets

Contract 09

SAN FRANCISCO – A Dallas-based corporation alleges that a San Francisco man took secret data, documents and information before he resigned.

Gill Reprographics Inc. filed a complaint on April 17 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against Clint Walston, Synergy Reprographics LLC and Does 1 to 100 alleging intentional interference with contract, misappropriation of trade secrets and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Walston, a former employee, secretly misappropriated its confidential trade secrets and attempted to divert its customers to competitor Synergy. The suit states Walston was employed by the plaintiff from 2006 to 2017.

The plaintiff holds Walston, Synergy Reprographics LLC and Does 1 to 100 responsible because the defendants allegedly misappropriated plaintiff's trade secrets and continues to do so.

The plaintiff seeks disgorgement, punitive damages, interest, restitution, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Dean A. Rocco and Sabrina Ly of Wilson Elser Moskowitz, Edelman & Dicker LLP in Los Angeles.
