LOS ANGELES – A Van Nuys company alleges it has not infringed patents related to an infant diaper disposal system.
Munchkin Inc. filed a complaint on May 22 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against the Edgewell Personal Care Brands LLC and International Refills Co. LTD seeking declaratory judgment.
According to the complaint, the defendants claim the plaintiff has infringed patents '420 and '029. The plaintiff alleges that it does not infringe those patents.
The plaintiff seeks declaration that the plaintiff does not infringe any patents and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Sean M. Coughlin of Lathrop & Gage LLP in Los Angeles.
