LOS ANGELES – A corporation based in Taiwan has filed suit against another corporation based in the same country over allegations it sold infringing products in California.
King Shen Co. LTD and David Tsai filed a complaint on May 23, in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against King Roof Industrial Co. LTD alleging patent infringement.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs manufacture bike racks and have patented their designs. The plaintiffs hold King Rood Industrial Co. LTD responsible because the defendant allegedly sells bike racks that infringes plaintiff's '816 patent.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek enjoin the defendant, damages, enhanced damages, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Chia-li Bruce of Bruce Stone LLP in San Francisco.
