Just One LLC, Runners Clothing International Inc. accused of copyright infringement

LOS ANGELES – A California corporation alleges that one of its fabric designs was unlawfully used.

Universal Dyeing & Printing Inc. filed a complaint on May 23 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Just One LLC, Runners Clothing International Inc. and Does 1 through 10 alleging copyright infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages from having its UA 15771 design copied without its authority. The plaintiff holds Just One LLC, Runners Clothing International Inc. and Does 1 through 10 responsible because the defendants allegedly sold or manufactured garments made out of fabrics that bear plaintiff's design.

The plaintiff seeks enjoin the defendants, statutory damages, all profits, all legal fees, interest, and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Stephen M. Doniger, Scott A. Burroughs and Frank Gregory Casella of Doniger/ Burroughs in Venice.
