Copyright 12

LOS ANGELES – A South Korean corporation alleges a Washington corporation doing business in California is selling garments made with fabrics with unauthorized designs.

NS Int'l Textiles filed a complaint on May 23 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Zulily LLC and Does 1-10 alleging copyright infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages from having its NS2017R design copied without their authority. The plaintiff holds Zulily LLC and Does 1-10 responsible because the defendants allegedly sold and marketed garments made out of fabrics that bear plaintiff's design.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks enjoin the defendants, all profits, statutory damages, all legal fees, interest and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by C. Yong Jeong, Amy Choe and John R. Baldivia of Jeong & Likens LC in Los Angeles.
