Allied Rubber & Gasket Co. accused of patent infringement

SAN DIEGO – A New Jersey corporation alleges that a Carlsbad company infringed its patents.

Victaulic Co. filed a complaint on May 16 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California against Allied Rubber & Gasket Co., doing business as ARGCO, and Taizhou Realflex Pipetec Co. LTD alleging patent infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it is the owner of the '399 patent and the '799 patents. The plaintiff holds Allied Rubber & Gasket Co., doing business as ARGCO, and Taizhou Realflex Pipetec Co. LTD responsible because the defendants allegedly infringed these patents with sprinkler components.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages, pre- and post-judgment interest, attorney's fees and such other relief as the court deems equitable and just. It is represented by Colin T. Kemp of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP in San Francisco.
