Nutanix alleges it does not infringe Unlioc USA's patents

SAN JOSE – A San Jose corporation alleges that it does not infringe patents owned by a Texas corporation.

Nutanix Inc. filed a complaint on June 2 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, San Jose Division against Uniloc USA Inc. and Uniloc Luxembourg SA seeking declaratory judgment of noninfringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is a leader in cloud computing. The suit states the defendants have accused the plaintiff of infringing their '293, '578, '466 and other patents.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks declaration that the plaintiff does not infringe any of the defendants' patents, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Charlene M. Morrow and David L. Hayes of Fenwick & West LLP in Mountain View.
