C&SM Intl. alleges textile design was infringed by four LA corporations

LOS ANGELES – Four Los Angeles corporations are alleged to have unlawfully copied a textile design.

C&SM Intl. filed a complaint on May 30 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against T.G.L. Textile Inc., Emma Rose Apparel Inc., Vanilla Monkey LTD, YNJ Fashion Gateway Inc. and Does 1 through 10 alleging copyright infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages from having its textile design C&SM 31 copied. The plaintiff holds T.G.L. Textile Inc., Emma Rose Apparel Inc., Vanilla Monkey LTD, YNJ Fashion Gateway Inc. and Does 1 through 10 responsible because the defendants allegedly sold garments made out of fabrics that bear plaintiff's designs.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks enjoin the defendants, all profits, statutory damages, all legal fees, interest and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Ginam Lee and Jay Hong of LPL Lawyers in Los Angeles.
