Jitrade Inc. accuses Humming Fashion LK, others of infringing design

LOS ANGELES – A Los Angeles company in the apparel industry alleges that one of its textile designs was unlawfully used.

Jitrade Inc. filed a complaint on June 9 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Humming Fashion LK Inc., doing business as Mint Choco Wholesale, Inki Kim, Janne Walks Inc., et al. alleging copyright infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages from having its SND1604_6 design copied. The plaintiff holds Humming Fashion LK Inc., doing business as Mint Choco Wholesale, Inki Kim, Janne Walks Inc., et al. responsible because the defendants allegedly sold or manufactured garments made out of fabrics that bear plaintiff's designs.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks enjoin the defendants, profits, statutory damages, all legal fees, interest, and any other relief as this court deems just. It is represented by C. Yong Jeong and Amy Choe of Jeong & Likens LC in Los Angeles.
