LOS ANGELES – An Orange County man alleges his benefits were wrongfully terminated.
Erik G. Wilke filed a complaint on June 8 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against The Prudential Insurance Co. of America citing the Employee Retirement Income Security Act.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he became disabled in 2013 and was granted disability benefits by the defendant until the benefits were terminated in November 2015. The suit states that the plaintiff still alleges that he is disabled and that the defendant contends its termination of benefits was proper.
The plaintiff seeks plan benefits, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. He is represented by Robert F. Keehn of Law Office of Robert F. Keehn in Los Angeles.
