Individual seeks repayment of business loan made to New York man

Late 07

LOS ANGELES – A California man alleges that a New York man failed to repay a business loan.

Amir Barour as an individual and Amir Barour as a trustee of the Amir Barour Trust filed a complaint on June 20 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Javid Zarabi, Fariza Ebtehagfar and Does 1 through 20 alleging breach of contract and fraud.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff agreed to make a demand loan to Zarabi for $150,000 from his trust with the agreement that the loan would be fully repaid with interest at 1 percent per annum.

The plaintiff holds Zarabi, Ebtehagfar and Does 1 through 20 responsible because the defendants allegedly breached their contractual agreement with the plaintiff by failing to pay the full amount of their loan despite plaintiff's demands.

The plaintiff seeks general damages, special damages, punitive and exemplary damages, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. He is represented by Saul Reiss and Fay Pugh of Law Offices of Saul Reiss PC in Santa Monica.
