Passenger alleges he was injured in vehicle collision with pole in Fresno

Car accident 04

FRESNO – A passenger in a car operated by a Sanger woman alleges he was injured when the driver lost control of the vehicle and struck a pole.

Marco David Lopez filed a complaint on June 7 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Jana Lynne Contreras and Does 1-110 alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 12, 2015, he was a passenger in a vehicle being driven by Contreras when she lost control of the vehicle, causing it to collide with a power pole. The suit states the accident occurred at the intersection of Belmont and Wintergreen avenues in Fresno. The plaintiff alleges he sustained serious bodily injuries resulting in physical pain, mental suffering, substantial loss of income and medical expenses.

The plaintiff holds Contreras and Does 1-110 responsible because defendant Contreras allegedly negligently drove the vehicle at a speed greater than reasonable and failed to keep a proper and careful lookout to avoid a collision.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks economic and non-economic damages, plus interest, costs of suit and such other just and proper relief. He is represented by Reza Torkzadeh and Korosh Torkzadeh of The Torkzadeh Law Firm in Los Angeles.
